NEW JCB 420X CRAWLER EXCAVATOR
The JCB 420X large excavator brings JCB performance into the 40-tonne class, delivering increased digging power, lifting capacity and productivity for demanding heavy-duty applications. Built for quarrying, aggregates, crushing, mass excavation and high-volume earthmoving, the 420X is designed to move more material with every cycle.
Powered by a 322 HP Cummins L9 8.9L engine, the JCB 420X features a reinforced heavy-duty arm and boom, larger hydraulic cylinders, Auto Powerboost and a longer, wider undercarriage for increased stability. Oversized 50-tonne-class track motors provide 21% more tractive effort than the JCB 370X, helping the machine perform in steep, rough and demanding ground conditions.
With an operating weight of 93,454 lb, a maximum digging depth of 24 ft 8 in and bucket capacity up to 3.4 yd³, the 420X is built for contractors and businesses that need high production without moving into the 50-tonne excavator class.
